I have a good recommendation which is neither a wash nor a soap. It is a cleanser that I know works amazingly well for treating and preventing outbreaks of eczema, dermatitis, and other dermatological disorders. My friend had eczema and dry and flaky skin and it was this cleanser "Zenmed's DermCare" that provided her with long lasting relief.

Some people who have eczema, their skin is sensitive to soap, so this product is a better option for such type of people. It is completely natural and the primary ingredients are aloe vera gel and colloidal oatmeal, which are well known for their healing greatness.

I would suggest you try this to believe what I say.

I do not have eczema, but do have psoriasis. I use both, but when I am inflamed sometimes the stronger perfumes in body wash will irritate the skin more. It helps if I moisturize immediately after a shower or bath. The best moisturizer I have found is Avon Care Deeply Vitamin ACE (I use the hand cream because it's thicker than the body lotion.) i swear by the stuff and have tried MANY different things including very expensive prescription cream and that is the BEST stuff I have found!

I have a couple skin problems, including eczema and the best soap to use is Dove body wash for sensitive skin. You can buy the Dove bar of soap as well, but, I usually feel more comfortable knowing that no one else is using my bar of soap :P Whatever soap you choose- the best ones are the ones that don't have dyes or coloring in them and a lot of times the antibacterial soaps can cause more harm than good when it comes to certain parts of the body. Hope this helps!

well, with ezczema, the important thing is to not get it dry, which is what normal; soaps do. all these specific eczema soaps are just washes that don't dry the skin. so anything that moisturises will do. So any "gentle soap" or "hypoallergenic " product will do. just don't use normal household soap, it will make it alot worse

My sons doctor recommends that we use bar soap. He thinks the kinds that have oatmeal and olive oil in them work the best.

The lotion and the soap that he wanted us to try was Aveeno. It does seem to work. He needs the lotion more in the winter months.

Cetaphil.. that is what the doctor told me to use on my son who has excema also. It is pretty cheap, you can get it at walmart or grocery stores and it is like fragrance free. It helped his skin a lot.

Try a moistering soap, like Dove, and then put on a lotion afterwards. I have eczema and that seems to help.

it doesn't really matter as long as its medicated or full of moisture. Try Oil of Olay.
